How Cool Companies Can Use Seattle Meeting Room

DMR_week49_1I’ve always loved Seattle. It rains a lot, but it’s mostly mist. But I did not know this. So my friend was laughing his butt off as I busted out an umbrella every time a few drops fell.

One of the things I’ve always liked about the region is its tendency toward trendsetting. From grunge music to independent coffeehouses (yes, Starbucks is there – but the secret is that Seattleites go to Mom and Pops as much as possible. Starbucks is for the tourists and convenience).

The burgeoning start-up scene in the gorgeous Pacific Northwest continues to set many trends with cool and innovative new companies. For instance, there’s this start-up that puts all the local events online to raise public awareness. Unlike dry city-sponsored sites, Online goes out of its way to get people to post all kinds of events like movie screenings, boat trips, and concerts, etc. One of my pals uses the site to browse for events where he might find new clients. It’s amazing how many people he’s met that way. He works pretty much from home, so he uses Davinci meeting rooms to hold all his meetings. He is able to do everything from presentations to serve lunch and use day offices to prepare ahead of time. What’s really cool about Online is that he can also create events, many of which he hosts in meeting rooms.

As seen in the movie, “Sex and the City,” another cool business lets people rent expensive luxury handbags. It’s really genius, since you get to try out a bag before spending enough for the down payment on a house – not that I ever would. Much like renting anything, meeting rooms let you play the game without breaking your bank. These days, it’s really great to have access to professional services without having to make a commercial rental commitment!
